Realme has released two new smartphones from its latest Realme 13 series. The company has introduced the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+, mid-range smartphones. The phones offer an all-round experience providing high performance, a capable camera and a top-notch display. Let's take a look at the individual smartphones below, covering all their aspects.

Design Realme 13 Pro a Realme 13 Pro+

Realme says that the design of the Realme 13 Pro series is inspired by the work of French painter Claude Monet . The glass on the back of the smartphone has a brushstroke effect reminiscent of Monet's works.

The new smartphone opted for a circular camera module on the back. The camera module is carefully designed and contributes to the aesthetics of the smartphone. On the front, minimal display bezels give the device a premium look. Three color variants are available including gold, purple and emerald green.

Realme 13 Pro specifications

The Realme 13 Pro features a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display. It has FHD+ resolution and supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The curved display gives the device a premium feel. In addition, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Under the hood of the smartphone ticks Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. It is a capable mid-range processor based on 4nm architecture that comes with 8 cores. It provides high efficiency and performance.

In the camera department, the Realme 13 Pro shines with a 50MP LYT-600 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

The Smartphone 13 Pro also has a battery with a capacity of 5,200 mAh and 45W SuperVOOC cable charging. Although it is not the fastest in the segment, it is still decent considering the large capacity.

Realme 13 Pro+ specifications

The Pro+ has a lot in common with its younger sibling. It offers a similar 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It also got a protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Under the hood, it has a similar Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. The biggest difference is in the camera department, where the 13 Pro+ has a better camera setup. It has a 50Mpx Sony LYT-701 sensor that provides sharp images in high resolution. In addition, it also received a LYT-600 sensor providing a 3x telephoto lens with a resolution of 50MP. The third sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide. The primary lens and telephoto lens are equipped with OIS, which means that the shots will be stable. The selfie camera remains the same, offering a 32MP resolution.

The phone has a 5200mAh battery, but it supports 80W faster charging. Finally, the phone comes with RealmeUI based on Android 14 operating system.

Realme Hyperimage+ AI

The mid-range smartphone segment is highly competitive. Therefore, companies have to give their phones some interesting features to make them stand out. The feature that makes the 13 Pro series stand out is Realme's Hyperimage+ AI system. Realme has created this system to provide a better camera experience. It combines software and hardware functions to give users a better result.

First, it uses hardware that includes high-end camera sensors such as the Sony LYT-701 and LYT-600 sensors. Second, it uses artificial intelligence image algorithms to help recognize the scene and deliver perfect shots accordingly. Finally, there are also cloud-based AI image editing features. For example, there is an AI feature called Smart Removal that helps users remove any unwanted object or person from images. Other features like group photo enhancement and audio zoom are also available.

Prices and availability 

Realme 13 Pro comes in three variants: 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB. They are priced at INR 26,999 ($320), INR 28,999 ($346) and INR 31,999 ($382). The Realme 13 Pro+ model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage starts at INR 32,999 ($394). The 12/256GB storage variant will come at INR 34,999 ($418) and the 12/512GB at INR 36,999 ($441).
