The anticipation is building as the Redmi brand prepares to unveil its highly awaited Redmi Note 14 series. Historically, the Redmi Note series debuts in China around September or October, and this year is no different. With the launch just around the corner, leaks and rumors about the upcoming models have been gaining traction. While several details have surfaced, much of the attention has been focused on the Redmi Note 14 Pro.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro is set to feature several upgrades over last year’s Redmi Note 13 Pro. Among the most notable changes is the camera setup. This year, Redmi is ditching the 200 MP primary sensor in favor of a robust 50 MP sensor. Additionally, the design of the rear panel has undergone a significant overhaul. Earlier leaks hinted at a new design, but a recent image from the TechBoilers website offers a clearer view.
The most striking change in the Redmi Note 14 Pro is the repositioned camera module. The large, square module with rounded corners has moved from the top-left corner to the center of the upper third of the rear panel, marking a significant departure from previous designs. This fresh new look includes three sensors and an LED flash, adding a modern touch to the device.
Although the front panel of the Redmi Note 14 Pro hasn’t been fully revealed, industry insiders predict a micro-curved display—making it the first in the series with such a feature. Unlike the flat screen of the Note 13 Pro, the Note 14 Pro may boast an upgraded 1.5K resolution display. The primary camera is expected to feature the new 50 MP sensor, likely accompanied by a wide-angle lens. It’s still unclear whether a telephoto lens will be included, but a macro lens, as seen in previous models, is a possibility.
Details about the processor remain speculative, though some reports suggest the Snapdragon 7s Gen3 chipset might power the device. Additionally, a larger battery is anticipated, promising longer usage times. As we await further details, one thing is certain: the Redmi Note 14 Pro is shaping up to be a noteworthy upgrade in the Redmi lineup.
