For those who are particularly specific about the privacy settings in various aspects of their messaging app, not only does it look like end-to-end encryption, WhatsApp seems to bring you some improvement soon.
The current privacy settings
very useful for you. if you know about them, that is. Soon you’ll be able to add another option for who can see your last seen feature if you’re into more granular settings for all aspects of your messaging experience.
WABetaInfo shares an upcoming redesigned Privacy Settings option for WhatsApp. If you still do not know it, you now have a few options about who you last saw, the profile picture and who to look up to. Not all the people you interact with in the messaging app are real friends or people you would like to get such information from. Current options are everyone, my contacts and no one else.
The other new option that WhatsApp will soon introduce is "Except my contacts ...", which means you can now deactivate it for specific contacts. With the current options, if you do not want specific people to see your last one, you should choose the one you basically mean, well, no one can see it. But when this new option is implemented, you can at least choose the link you do not want to see the last time you were online or your profile picture and details.
If you choose to disable the last view for specific contacts, you will not be able to see the ones that should be fair. The shared screenshot was last seen for privacy settings, but this also applies to the other two privacy settings. It was also obtained from WhatsApp for iOS but in fact it will eventually be available for the Android app as well, we do not know at launch or at the end.
