Vivo continues to expand its popular "Y" product line with the launch of the Vivo Y300 Pro in the Chinese market. Replacing the Y200 Pro model that debuted earlier this year, the Vivo Y300 Pro brings several exciting improvements, including a massive battery, upgraded processor, and a modern design that aligns with current trends.
The design of the Vivo Y300 Pro has been significantly revamped compared to its predecessor, the Y200 Pro. Vivo designers have embraced the trend of large circular main camera modules, making the module a prominent feature of the rear panel. The front panel is equally modern, featuring narrow, symmetrical bezels around the display, and a central punch-hole for the front camera.
The Vivo Y300 Pro sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392 × 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The screen boasts a maximum brightness of up to 5000 nits, ensuring vibrant visuals even in bright outdoor conditions.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y300 Pro is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 6 Gen1 processor, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB-C. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display, and the device also includes stereo speakers and IP65 certification for dust and water resistance.
One of the standout features of the Vivo Y300 Pro is its massive 6500mAh battery, which offers significantly improved endurance compared to the Y200 Pro. The battery supports 80W fast charging, ensuring that users can quickly recharge and get back to their activities. The device runs on Android 14 with Vivo's Origin OS 14 overlay.
Despite its large camera module, the Vivo Y300 Pro features a dual-camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 50MP Sony LYT-600 with a 1/1.95-inch size and an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is equipped with a 32MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, perfect for high-quality selfies and video calls.
The Vivo Y300 Pro is available in four attractive colors: Black Jade, White, Gold, and Titanium. Pre-orders are now open in China, with sales starting on September 14th. Pricing is as follows:
