As October approaches, so does the launch of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen4 flagship processor, and with it comes a wave of new high-end smartphones. Among the leading brands, OnePlus is preparing to introduce its latest flagship, the OnePlus 13, which is set to be one of the first phones powered by the new Snapdragon chipset.
Leaks and rumors surrounding the OnePlus 13 have given us some insight into its specifications, including details on its battery, charging capabilities, and camera setup. Now, thanks to renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, we have more exciting news – this time about the phone’s memory configurations.
According to the latest leaks, the OnePlus 13 will come in several memory options, with the highest version offering a massive 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM paired with 1TB of internal storage. This top-tier configuration will make it a strong competitor against other flagship models like the Xiaomi 15 Pro, iQOO 13, and Honor Magic 7 Pro. However, this advanced memory setup may come with a higher price tag compared to its predecessor.
Last year’s OnePlus 12 with 24GB/1TB memory was priced at 5799 yuan (around $822), but tipsters predict the OnePlus 13 version could cost more due to increased production costs. However, the exact pricing remains a mystery.
The OnePlus 13 is also expected to feature a stunning 6.8-inch LTPO OLED curved display from BOE, with 2K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also include an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by a 6000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
In terms of photography, the OnePlus 13 is rumored to sport a triple camera system, headlined by a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor with f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). The other two cameras will also be 50MP – one serving as a wide-angle lens and the other as a periscopic telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. As with previous models, Hasselblad optics will enhance the camera performance, and the phone will come with IP68 or IP69 certification for water and dust resistance.
With these exciting features, the OnePlus 13 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated phones of the year. Stay tuned for more details as the official launch date approaches!
