The official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is still months away, but leaks are already providing us with a glimpse of what's to come. From design upgrades to improved specs, we now have valuable insights about the three models in the series: Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Thanks to the reliable tipster Ice Universe, we have learned about the potential differences in the screen sizes of the Galaxy S25 series. A recent post on X (formerly Twitter) revealed an image of screen protectors for the Galaxy S25 models, allowing us to compare their display sizes directly.
The leaked image highlights the size differences between the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Ultra variant, in particular, shows updated rounded edges, offering an enhanced feel and grip compared to its predecessors.
Reports suggest that the size difference between the three models is similar to the Galaxy S24 series. However, it's worth noting that previous leaks indicate the Ultra variant may be smaller. Samsung is likely achieving this by reducing the bezels around the display, although this isn’t entirely visible in the leaked image. The updated rounded edges of the Galaxy S25 Ultra's display protector are, however, clearly evident.
Additionally, rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be thinner than the previous generation. The base model could measure around 7.2mm, while the Ultra model may come in at 8.2mm. Despite these reductions, the devices are expected to maintain the same display sizes as the Galaxy S24 series.
Along with the expected design changes, all three models of the Galaxy S25 series will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The Ultra variant is rumored to feature a brand-new 50MP ultrazoom camera, continuing Samsung's commitment to premium photography features.
A Samsung executive has already confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will come equipped with a top-tier camera system and an improved display. We anticipate more details to emerge in the months leading up to the official launch.
