Xiaomi recently introduced HyperOS 2, which brings many improvements to its software ecosystem . Until now, Xiaomi has only shared the official HyperOS 2 update schedule within China. Now the company has confirmed the global schedule of Xiaomi HyperOS 2. And what is the good news? International users won't have to wait until 2025 for the latest version of Xiaomi's operating system.
The initial rollout of Xiaomi HyperOS 2 is set to begin this month. The first devices include the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro . These two devices will receive the update in the coming weeks. They will be joined in this early release by the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, as well as the Xiaomi 13T Pro. However, the standard 13T model will not receive the update yet.
Other models should also receive HyperOS 2 in November this year. The Redmi Note 13 series, along with the Poco X6, X6 Pro, F6 Pro and M6 Pro, are also riding on it. In addition, the Xiaomi Mix Flip will be among the first devices to receive the new operating system, giving users a taste of its latest features.
Xiaomi will roll out the HyperOS 2 update to even more devices in December. Xiaomi 13T, Poco F6 and M6 are the others to receive the update. Along with several older Xiaomi models. These are phones from the Xiaomi 13, 12 and 11 series, as well as the 12T and 12T Pro.
The December expansion also covers the Redmi and Poco range of devices. The update affects both the Redmi 13 and 12 series in 4G and 5G versions, as well as the entire Redmi Note 12 series. Older Poco models such as the X5 Pro, F5 and F5 Pro, X4 GT and F4 GT will also move to HyperOS 2. Notably, , that even some recent devices like the Poco C75 launched with an older version of HyperOS are on their way to this update.
By the end of 2024, Xiaomi will update a wide range of devices to HyperOS 2, including some models from 2022. However, not every older model will receive this update. Notably, the Poco X4 Pro and the standard F4 are not on the list. For the most part, Xiaomi flagship devices will receive updates from previous generations. Like the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra from late 2020 to early 2021.
In addition to smartphones, Xiaomi tablets and wearables also receive HyperOS 2. From November, updates are planned for Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 and Smart Band 9 Pro.
