Xiaomi has marked a significant milestone with the global launch of the Redmi Note 14, following its successful debut in India. The global variant introduces notable improvements, particularly in the camera department, while maintaining the series' core features. Additionally, Xiaomi has unveiled a new LTE-only model, featuring distinct specifications in terms of chipset, dimensions, and camera capabilities.
The Redmi Note 14 5G showcases Xiaomi's commitment to innovation with its Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor. The device features a stunning 6.67-inch AMOLED display, delivering Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The display achieves an impressive 2,100 nits peak brightness and comes protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the upgraded camera system, featuring a 108MP main sensor with OIS and a large 1/1.67-inch sensor size. The setup is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, a 20MP front camera is housed in the punch-hole cutout.
The 4G variant, powered by the Helio G99 chipset, offers a more affordable option while maintaining essential features. While it retains the 108MP main camera, it foregoes OIS and the ultra-wide lens in favor of depth and macro sensors. The device features a similar 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, though with a slightly lower 1,800 nits peak brightness.
