Apple recently released its new MacBook Pro models in global markets. During the Unleashed event, Apple unveiled the new TWS AirPods 3 headphones and several color options for the Mini HomePod. The focus of the rumors is now shifting to other Apple products in progress. One of the most anticipated products that is expected to debut in the future is Apple Mixed Reality (MR). Apple will launch its futuristic MR glasses in the second quarter of 2022. However, it seems that the company is facing problems.
According to a post by 9to5Mac ( via ), which cites the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will face production delays due to the complex design of this product. The analyst says that Apple's industrial design requirements for MR glasses are significantly higher than industry standards. The company also wants to offer a "solid ecosystem of hardware, software and services" on the go. Kuo, therefore, expects a delay in production. In addition, he states that Apple does not want to present MR glasses not only as a gaming device, but also as something ready for other applications.
The analyst believes that the American company will start production in the fourth quarter of 2022. Taiwan's Young Optics is one of the potential suppliers of components for Apple's new device, he added.
The set is not expected to be cheap, and certainly not for most consumers. After all, something that will cost around $ 3,000 will definitely come as a premium for tech lovers. The Virtual Reality Headset will combine VR and augmented reality (AR) to deliver an ultra-high resolution 8K display. Apple will also offer interchangeable headbands, which will allow users to change them according to their requirements. Last but not least, Apple Mixed Reality is rumored to have some kind of advanced eye tracking feature and will only display images where the user looks. The device will also come with a plethora of cameras in and out for motion monitoring and seamless experience.
Mixed Reality Headset AR / VR seems to be a very interesting product. We are curious to see how it will look in its final form, as the company also pays attention to design.
