The source also emphasizes that the new devices will feature thin and light cases, as well as receive a version of the optical fingerprint sensor built into the screen.

The fingerprint scanner technology on the screen will increasingly appear in devices under the Redmi brand, and Redmi K50 series smartphones will also receive it. In total, the new family promises three models, where the top will be awarded a Snapdragon 898 chipset, and the other two - a more modest Snapdragon 888. They will also offer fast charging at 120 watts, which recently went to the mid-range device - Redmi Note 11 Pro +.
