Some things have to end - when we ALL understand that they are over. Is not that right; Motorola executives do not seem to think the same way and insist on electrocuting a clinically dead patient called the Mobile division of the now Chinese (Lenovo) company. The arrival of a "flagship" called Moto Edge X is not expected to change anything - except rather to continue the "work" on the last fans of the brand.
Motorola is therefore rumored that will bring a flagship with Snapdragon 898 by the end of 2021 and now we know how we called the phone. According to the General Manager of Mobile Business at Lenovo China , the new device will be known as the Moto Edge X and will be "infinitely powerful" - they say, while all of them there are "full of expectations".
The Moto Edge X comes as the natural successor to the Moto Edge S, Motorola's current flagship. It's unusual to call it a Snapdragon 870-powered phone, but we haven't seen a real flagship from the Lenovo brand since the first half of 2020, when the Motorola Edge + with the Snapdragon 865 was introduced.
We know nothing about the specifications of the Edge X other than the chipset, but we will definitely hear more as the release approaches. Ignore this cell phone though - we said, the patient is clinically dead.
