Vivo Y50t with Snapdragon 720G travels to the Chinese market

The Vivo brand launched the Vivo Y50t phone quite discreetly on the Chinese market. The show took place without much hype, perhaps because the phone does not support 5G networks unusually. This is at a time when established manufacturers are trying to send piles of cheaper 5G machines to the Chinese market. Nevertheless, we can say that the new Vivo model has quite decent parameters and in fact the price is not exorbitant. So let's take a look at what the new phone has to offer to potential buyers.

Vivo Y50t has a 6.58 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2480 × 1080 pixels. However, the refresh rate is "only" 60 Hz. The contrast ratio reached 1500: 1 and the usable area is 90.72%. The front camera lies in a "hole" in the upper left corner of the display and has 8 MPix. The main camera module is vertical and sits in the upper left corner of the rear panel. The camera consists of a primary 48 MPix sensor and two 2 MPix sensors, one of which acts as a macro lens and the other is used to capture depth of field.

As we mentioned, the phone lacks support for 5G networks. The reason is the used Snapdragon 720G processor, which Qualcomm introduced at the beginning of last year. In the case of the Vivo Y50t model, the processor was supplemented by 8 GB of operational memory and 128 GB of internal storage. There is also a recently popular option of virtual RAM expansion, by 4 GB. Internal storage can also be further expanded with a microSD card. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and 18 W charging support. Connectivity is represented by 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The fingerprint reader is located on the edge of the machine. The phone runs on the Android 10 operating system with the OriginOS 1.0 extension.

And finally, let's look at the price at which the phone goes on sale in China. It is not high and the manufacturer has set it at 1,399 yuan, which is about $ 219. There are two color variants on the market, namely black and blue with a color gradient. Sales start every day.
