List of confirmed manufacturers with models for Snapdragon 8 Gen1

This is the second 4 nm chipset on the market after the Dimensity 9000, and in the coming months it will be the most widely used high-end piece for most major brands in the coming months. And that there won't be many of them… Everything will certainly be affected by the chip shortage, because the demand will certainly exceed the initial production possibilities. But, of course, the largest companies secured their supplies and contracted in advance.

There is already a list of directly confirmed brands that have announced the use of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. However, they will be joined by another large group of others, whose expression we are still waiting for. But it can be assumed that it will not take long.

Motorola will be the first to enter the market on December 9 with the Edge X30. It offers, for example, an OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, or a triple camera system with 50 Mpx sensors. Just a few days behind, the Xiaomi 12 series will probably equalize the game , where there is speculation about the date of December 12. He will bet on an AMOLED panel with 120 Hz, 50 Mpx main photo-sensor or allegedly 100W + fast-charging.

Five other confirmed pursuers fall under the BBK Electronics Group and are sister companies. They all have a common uncertain date in common, but they all talk about the beginning of 2022. OPPO has already confirmed the use of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on Twitter and it may be the Find X4 Pro model. At OnePlus we are at least sure that it will definitely be OnePlus 10. As well as Realme, who proudly announced the Realme GT2 Pro model with a new chipset. Vivo will then offer several models, including the Nex 4, X80 Pro and X80 Pro +. Well, game experts from IQOO will soon be launching a model as part of the IQOO 9 series.

But the list will surely grow very soon. For example, Honor with the Magic4 series, Samsung with the Galaxy S22 or Redmi with the Redmi K50.
