Xiaomi 12 Pro and its design
The Chinese premiere of the Xiaomi 12 flagship is approaching every day, so it's clear that the network is full of model information. Today we will take a look at the Xiaomi 12 Pro several times, mainly because exclusive images of the protective case of this phone have appeared on the Gizmochina website . From them we will find out how the main camera module is designed.
We know from previous rumors about the Xiaomi 12 Pro's main camera only that its primary sensor can have a resolution of 50 MPix. Basically, we still didn't know how many sensors the main camera has and how they are distributed in the module. But today's pictures of the back covers give us some help. As with many Xiaomi phones, the module is rectangular. At its top is one large sensor. Below it on the left are two smaller sensors and on the right is an LED flash and there is another hole. It is designed for either a LiDAR sensor or a microphone. But that's just speculation so far.
It is also clear from the renders that on the right edge we find a volume cradle and an on / off button. At the bottom edge there is obviously a hole for USB-C connector, microphone and speaker. Another speaker hole is on the top edge. Depending on the shape of the protective case, we can notice that the camera module is quite raised above the surface of the back panel. As far as the front panel is concerned, it can only be confirmed that the "hole" for the front camera lies in the middle of the upper part of the display. We do not know how narrow or thick the frames around the screen are, because they are covered by the edge of the case. The display is of the OLED type with a 120 Hz refresh rate and, of course, we are also waiting for a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor and also 120 W charging.
