ZTE has been preparing us for some time to launch its flagship phone, the Nubia Z40 Pro. And exactly as they promised, they officially introduced this phone yesterday. The new flag has an attractive design, very decent photo equipment and also took one priority. This is the first phone with Android and support for wireless magnetic charging. So let's look at the individual specifications.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY

As already mentioned, the Nubia Z40 Pro has an attractive design. Although it is based on the look of last year's Nubia Z30 Pro model, we will definitely find changes here. The phone is again square with the curved side edges of the screen, but the appearance of the main camera module is different. The module is large and occupies almost one third of the rear panel. The three sensors lie vertically in its left part, on the right is the inscription Nubia. The dimensions of the phone are 161.9 × 72.9 × 8.4 mm at a weight of 199 grams.

The OLED curved display has a diagonal of 6.67 inches and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The screen softness is 395 ppi and the refresh rate up to 144 Hz. The aspect ratio is 20: 9 and there is a "hole" for the front camera in the middle of the top.

Like many other flagship phones this year, the Nubia Z40 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. It was supplemented by 8/12/16 GB of RAM and 128/256/512 GB and 1 TB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports 80 W cable charging, and a special edition of the phone also supports 15 W wireless magnetic charging. Connectivity is represented by 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC and USB-C 3.1 Gen1. The fingerprint sensor is located below the display and the equipment also includes dual stereo speakers. The operating system is Android 12 with the MyOS 12 extension.

The photo equipment of the phone is at a really good level. The front camera has a resolution of 16 MPix and the main camera is triple. It consists of a 64 MPix Sony IMX787 primary sensor with OIS support and a focal length of 35 mm. There is also a 50 MPix wide-angle 116 ° lens and an 8 MPix periscope sensor with 9x zoom and OIS support. The Nubia Z40 Pro is already on the Chinese market in pre-order mode, with sales starting March 2 / March. The prices of individual versions are as follows:
