Realme is preparing for the debut of the new 9 5G and 9 5G SE models . However, according to recent rumors, the company is already working on another new smartphone; it seems to be a mid-range with a feature we know very well, but on another brand: Could Realme adopt OnePlus ' alert slider on one of its next smartphones?
Realme could launch a middle-range smartphone with the alert slider, OnePlus' trademark
As perhaps not everyone knows, Realme is part of the Chinese group BBK , which includes other well-known names, such as Oppo , vivo and OnePlus . The various brands within the conglomerate often share their technological resources, and perhaps the symbolic function of OnePlus could be "borrowed" from Realme for a mid-range future which, according to the latest rumors, could be released as early as April . The alert slider is a feature that we have come to appreciate both on Apple and OnePlus devices : the Chinese house has inserted it into almost every device produced. This has meant that the iconic scroll key that allows you to switch from silent mode to vibration or ringtone, became in a sense the distinctive feature of the Chinese brand, being the only company to produce Android smartphones with this function.
In April, however, Realme could "steal the show" from OnePlus with a mid-range device whose characteristics we do not yet know; it is not difficult to notice in this a slight "opposition" to the change of course adopted by OnePlus which lately is preparing the alert slider only on premium range devices (and Nord Number models ). Since these are indiscretions and having no further information available on the matter, this is information to be taken with a grain of salt. We just have to wait for more information to find out if Realme will adopt the alert slider for the future - and for now mysterious - medium range.
