Realme are preparing a midrange phone with a "slider" Alert Slider
The Chinese brand Realme is the fastest growing manufacturer of phones and their expansion is accelerating. The last days are full of their news, but it seems that not all days are far from over. According to the exclusive information of the Indian server MySmartPrice , the company is working on one very interesting midrange phone. At first glance, it will not score parameters, but one design gimmick for real smokers. Apparently, it should have the iconic "Alert Slider" slider, which made OnePlus phones famous on the Android platform. And the fans immediately fell in love with him.
If no one knows, this is a hardware slider on the side of the phone that you can use to switch between silent mode, ringtone and vibration. So a similar solution as on Apple iPhones. All high-end OnePlus phones are equipped with this convenience, but the company has surprisingly withdrawn from its use for much of the cheaper Nord line. Realme, like OnePlus, belongs under the wings of the giant BBK Electronics concern, which of course also includes OPPO . This has recently been fully absorbed by OnePlus, and some cannibalization of the elements is in full swing. For example, OPPO has obtained Hasselblad certification for Find X5, and Realme probably wants to use the Alert Slider.
In addition, this new phone from Realme could allegedly appear sometime in April. But so far we have no idea which model it should be. And of course we don't know any of its specifications and parameters. Of course, one small convenience like Alert Slider will not be enough as a full PR advertising campaign for a novelty, but it can help a lot. After all, ask any OnePlus owner with an Alert Slider. Personally, I can't imagine owning a phone without a similar solution. So this is definitely a great step from Realme.
