iQOO Neo 6 SE launched on the Chinese market

At the end of last month, the iQOO brand confirmed that it will launch the iQOO Neo 6 SE phone on the Chinese market on May 6. Exactly as promised, so did they. The new phone thus expanded the Neo 6 series, the first representative of which is the flagship Neo 6 model, which the manufacturer introduced around mid-April. Some specifications of the Neo 6 SE model were confirmed by the iQOO itself before the show, some of them were estimated by tipsters, so we will now compare them with those that were completely published at the show .

DESIGN AND DISPLAY OF THE IQOO NEO 6 SE MODEL 

The look of the iQOO Neo 6 SE phone is basically the same as that of its older brother Neo 6. There are very narrow frames around the display and even the chin is not much wider. In the middle of the top of the screen is a "hole" for the front camera. The rear panel has slightly rounded side edges and a larger rectangular main camera module in the upper left corner. So there was no dramatic design change.

The display is type E4 AMOLED. It has a diagonal of 6.62 inches, a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is support for 105% NTSC color gamut and brightness of up to 1300 nits. A fingerprint sensor is also integrated into the screen. It can be said that the display parameters are the same as for the Neo 6 model.

ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS 

If the Neo 6 is the flagship of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, the newly introduced iQOO Neo 6 SE represents a solid middle class. He got a Snapdragon 870 processor. The chipset was supplemented with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 4700 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 80 W. For fast charging, the manufacturer adds that the phone charges from zero to 100% in just 30 minutes. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA / NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB-C and NFC. The manufacturer has also added stereo speakers with Hi-Fi audio support. The operating system is Android 12 with the Origin OS Ocean extension.

PRICES AND AVAILABILITY The Neo 6 SE phone comes on the market in three color variants, namely Orange, Gradient Blue and Gradient Green. The Chinese market is already pre-ordered and the first round of sales begins on May 11. Prices for individual memory versions are as follows:

• 8 GB / 128 GB - 1999 yuan ($ 300)
• 8 GB / 256 GB - 2,299 yuan ($ 345)
• 12 GB / 256 GB - 2,499 yuan ($ 375)
