OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will soon be on the Chinese market

Around the middle of last month , OnePlus introduced the OnePlus Ace to the Chinese market. A few days later, the same phone appeared on the Indian market, but its local trade name is OnePlus 10R. And to top it off, both devices are in a way rebrands the Realme GT Neo 3, although they are slightly modified. Now, OnePlus has confirmed that it is preparing a showcase in China on May 17 and will feature the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition phone. And because the interest of Chinese fans in this upcoming machine is great, some of its specifications were declassified by Weibo , the head of OnePlus for the Chinese market, Mr. Louis Li.

THE MAIN PARAMETERS OF THE ONEPLUS ACE RACING EDITION PHONE 

In particular, a OnePlus representative said that the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will receive an LCD display. However, this is not a conventional LCD screen, which can be found in lower-class phones, but an improved LTPS IPS LCD display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Thanks to the variable refresh rate, the planned phone is said to have better battery life. The frequency is set according to the content that the user is currently watching on the screen.

Louis Li also added that OnePlus has catered to its fans, who prefer the LTPS LCD screen to the AMOLED display on premium phones. Of course, the use of such a display will also slightly reduce the price and make the relatively premium machine more accessible to a wider range of users. The display has a diagonal of 6.59 inches and a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels. In the upper left corner is a "hole" for the front 16 MPix camera. The main camera consists of 64 MPix, 8 MPix and 2 MPix sensors. There is a wide angle lens and a macro lens. The processor is a Dismensity 8100 Max with 8/12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 65 W. The fingerprint sensor lies on the edge of the power button and the operating system is Android 12 with the OxygenOS 12.1 extension. The dimensions of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition are 164.3 × 75.8 × 8.7 mm and weighs 205 grams. The gray and blue color variants will be launched on the market and the price will reportedly be lower than with the OnePlus Ace model.
