Poco F4 passed Geekbench tests

The Poco brand is preparing another rebranded phone. It is a Poco F4 model, which is a global version of the Redmi K40S phone. It is sold under this trade name only on the Chinese market. However, it is interesting that the redesignated Poco model is prepared in two versions with model designations 22021211RG and 22021211RI. The first will go on sale in global markets and the second will go on the Indian market. Both versions have already passed the necessary certifications and we even had the opportunity to see real photos of the upcoming machine.

POCO F4 HAS A CONFIRMED SNAPDRAGON 870 PROCESSOR 

The tipsters have recently estimated that the manufacturer will soon introduce the Poco F4 phone globally. This has now been confirmed on Twitter by representatives of Poco India. In addition, they also confirmed the use of the Snapdragon 870 processor. However, this chipset has basically been known for a long time, because the Redmi K40S phone also runs on it. Representatives of the brand also highlight the qualities of this chipset, which is reportedly the best optimized in the entire Snapdragon 800 series.

In addition, the Indian version of the Poco F4 also passed the Geekbench benchmark tests with the same processor. During the tests, the chipset was supplemented by 12 GB of operating memory and the Android 12 system with the MIUI 13 extension. The phone scored 978 points in the Single-core test and 3254 points in the multi-core test.

Well, because the Poco F4 is a redesignated Redmi K40S phone, we can add its other parameters. It is a 6.67 inch AMOLED display with FullHD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh and support for fast charging with a power of 67 W. However, there is a small change in the photo equipment of the main camera, because the primary sensor has a resolution of 64 MP and also supports optical image stabilization. The Redmi K40S has a 48 MP sensor without OIS. An 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro lens go to the primary sensor. The front camera has 20 MP. However, let's wait for these specifications to be confirmed by the manufacturer, which will probably happen soon. The launch of the phone will take place later this month.
