Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 4G gets Snapdragon 720G

When Samsung unveiled its first ever Fan Edition phone, the Galaxy S20 FE , in 2020, it caused quite a stir in the market. It was a phone that was created thanks to the feedback from the fans and their idea of ​​an ideal phone. The first FE model went on the market in two versions, with 4G and 5G support. A year later, the Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to hit the market, but with its release it was quite complicated. After several delays, Samsung finally introduced the phone in January / January this year, but only in a version with 5G support. That's why now seems to be the right time for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 4G version.

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S21 FE 4G 

Although we really did not expect the release of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 4G model, Samsung surprised us and allegedly prepares a "fan" model with 4G support. At least according to what the Dutch website GalaxyClub published . The phone will get a mid-range processor and is said to be significantly cheaper than its 5G-enabled brother.

The Samsung Netherlands website is said to have already launched a support page for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 4G, and the phone is listed here under the model name SM-G990B2. Recall that the version with 5G support has the model designation SM-G990B. In addition, the SM-G990B2 has already passed Bluetooth SIG certification, which has confirmed Bluetooth 5.2 support. Furthermore, this phone also appeared on the websites of two Scandinavian e-shops, which even state its main parameters. And let's look at you now.

We mentioned at the beginning that the upcoming phone would get a mid-range processor. This is the Snapdragon 720G, which also powers the Galaxy A52 phone, for example, and can also be found in Redmi phones. And it is this chipset that will reduce the price of the upcoming phone. The processor adds 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The display is said to have a diagonal of 6.4 inches and a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh, the operating system is Android 12 and the main camera consists of two 12 MP sensors and an 8 MP sensor.
