The Poco C40 debuts in global markets

The Poco brand lists phones in its C product line that are super cheap, but the low price is based on base class specifications. A recent innovation in global markets is the Poco C40. The phone passed the necessary certifications in May / May , and earlier this month the manufacturer announced that it would be officially introduced on June 16 / June. And so it happened.

THE MAIN SPECIFICATIONS OF THE POCO C40 

Even before the official introduction of the Poco C40, we could have guessed from the specifications published by the tipper that it was a phone for the undemanding. At the same time, it is said to be the cheapest Poco phone, so it can appeal to those who prefer price over equipment. Despite the low price and basic specifications, the new Poco model has a rather interesting design and a relatively large display. It is an LCD type with a diagonal of 6.71 inches, a resolution of 1560 × 720 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a brightness of 400 nits.

A small surprise behind the low price of the Poco C40 can be found inside. It is a relatively unknown and little used JR510 processor from the Chinese company JLQ. The chipset has eight cores, four of which are clocked at 2 GHz and the other four at 1.5 GHz. Mali-G52 takes care of the graphics. The performance is said to be comparable to the Helio G35 or Unisoc T606. The processor is paired with 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded up to 1 TB.

The main attraction is about a battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh and charging support with a power of 18 W. However, a minor flaw in the beauty is the included charger, which has a power of only 10 W. Charging will take a long time if you do not buy an 18 W charger. Connectivity is represented by Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, USB-C and 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is on the rear panel.

PHOTO EQUIPMENT AND AVAILABILITY 

In the photo equipment we find a modest 5 MP front camera, which lies in a small drop-shaped section above the display. The main camera is dual with a primary 13 MP sensor with an aperture of f / 1.8 and a secondary 2 MP sensor. The Poco C40 is available in Power Black, Coral Green and POCO Yellow. However, the manufacturer did not state the prices of memory versions, stating that they are secret when the phone goes on sale in individual markets. This may mean that prices will vary by market.
