Lenovo Legion Halo passed Geekbench tests
Lenovo introduced its first gaming phone for the year, the Legion Y90, this spring. Needless to say, it was a well-trodden machine with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. However, even before the launch, it was rumored that he was starting work on another gaming phone and his working name was Lenovo Legion Halo. Then there was no talk of this upcoming phone for a long time, until at the beginning of this month there was a message that it had passed 3C certification.
Thanks to this, we found out that the gaming Lenovo Legion Halo will get a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, codenamed L71091 and support fast charging with a power of 68 W. In addition, tipsters also threw in the first rendered image, according to which it seems that the manufacturer has dropped distinctly gaming design that Legion Y90 has. Halo has a more classic look without game design elements.
And as the introduction of the Lenovo Legion Halo appears to be imminent, MySmartPrice has announced that it has already passed Geekbench tests. The phone with the same code designation as in the case of 3C certification passed the benchmark tests. The test report also confirmed the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, which was supplemented by 8 GB of RAM. However, it is likely that versions with a different RAM capacity will also be available on the market. The operating system is Android 12. In the Single-core test, the phone scored 1299 points and in the multi-core test 3953 points.
Of course, tipsters never sleep and are already slowly estimating other parameters of the upcoming Lenovo Legion Halo model. The display is said to be of the pOLED type with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and FullHD + resolution. The refresh rate reached a high of 144 Hz and the sampling frequency reached 300 Hz. The battery is said to have 5000 mAh and supports the already mentioned 68 W charging. There is also speculation about 256 GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage. According to the renderings, the main camera is triple and consists of 50 MP, 13 MP and 2 MP sensors. The front camera has 16 MP. We do not know exactly when Lenovo will present this phone, but it looks like the third quarter of this year.
