Google Pixel 7 phones have an improved selfie camera
Google is notorious for regularly launching a new line of its Pixel phones every fall. And it will be the same this year, when the manufacturer presents the Google Pixel 7 phones. The upcoming machines are not unknown to us, because we learned a little about them at the I/O developer conference .
At the conference, Google representatives primarily confirmed that the Google Pixel 7 phones will arrive in the fall, but did not give an exact date. However, tipsters estimate that the presentation may come a little earlier this year, already at the end of September/September. But it's hard to guess now whether they are right or whether Google will introduce Pixels as always in October/October. It is also confirmed that the phones will run on the brand new Android 13 system. Well, according to the published renders, the design of the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones does not differ much from last year's models.
GOOGLE PIXEL 7 PHONES HAVE A BETTER FRONT CAMERA
It's no secret that Google phones always have very decent photo equipment. This is mainly due to the fact that developers improve the software every year, and this year will be no different. At least that's what tipsters on the Chinese network claim , who took a closer look at the front camera of both models. They went through the code of the camera app and found the label "p21_front_setup". This suggests that the phones will get a new selfie camera sensor with support for 4K video recording. But it is not clear if this is the 11.1 MP sensor that last year's Pixel 6 Pro has, in any case, tipsters claim that both Google Pixel 7 phones support 4K video.
So much for the front camera. We also know that both models will get their own Tensor processor, just like last year, but this year it will be its second improved generation. However, tipsters do not expect the performance to be comparable to the performance of the flagship chipsets for this year. The Tensor 2 processor is built on Samsung's 4nm production LPE process and the ARMv8 standard. Perhaps the only improvement compared to last generation may be the use of two new Cortex-A78 cores to replace the old Cortex-A76 cores. But it is still too early to speculate about other possible improvements, as the launch of the phones is still a long way off.
