Vivo Y77 5G launched on the Chinese market

Since the beginning of this week, the Chinese market has been flooded with new flagship phones. For all of them, let's name the three new machines of the 12S series from Xiaomi and the new gaming phones of the ROG Phone 6 series . But that's not all, the Vivo brand also added its log to the fire. It launched the new Vivo Y77 5G phone, which it claims is the most powerful of the entire Y series. This model appeared in the Tenaa certification database in the middle of last month, so tipsters already estimated at that time that it would hit the market soon.

The newly introduced Vivo Y77 5G phone is not a premium device, but it will certainly find its buyers. It has fairly decent parameters, an interesting design, and its price doesn't look bad either. But let's look at it in more detail.

The display of the new phone is of the AMOLED type with a diagonal of 6.64 inches, FullHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A certain interesting thing is that the manufacturer used the Dimensity 930 processor here, which MediaTek presented only a month ago. So the Vivo Y77 5G seems to be the first phone to get this chipset. The processor has two Coretex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. It was complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The operating system is Android 12 with the OriginOS Ocean superstructure.

The battery is two-cell with a total capacity of 4500 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 80 W. The fingerprint sensor is located on the edge of the phone and there is also a 3.5 mm audio jack. The dimensions of the device are 164.17 × 75.8 × 8.59 mm with a weight of 194 grams. And we must not forget about the photo equipment, in which we can find a front 8 MP camera and a dual main camera with 50 MP and 2 MP sensors. The Vivo Y77 5G is coming to the market in blue and pink colors and is priced at 1,999 yuan, which translates to roughly $299. It is likely that this machine will be sold only in the Chinese market.
