Nubia Z40S Pro launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor

After the phones from the Red Magic 7S series with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, the Nubia brand introduced another model with the same chipset. It is the Nubia Z40S Pro phone, which has improved cooling and one version of the phone supports very fast charging with a power of 120 W. But let's take a look at the other specifications.

THE DESIGN AND DISPLAY OF THE NUBIA Z40S PRO PHONE 

The appearance of the Nubia Z40S Pro is slightly different from its predecessor, the Nubia Z40 Pro , mainly in that it has a flat display with narrow symmetrical bezels. Cosmetic changes to the appearance can also be found in the main camera module, which has differently arranged sensors and an LED flash.

The OLED display has a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The sampling frequency reached 480 Hz and the screen also offers support for 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit color depth and brightness of up to 1000 nits. There is also an integrated fingerprint sensor.

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS 

That said, the Nubia Z40S Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. It was complemented by 8/12/18 GB of operating memory and 128/256/512 GB and 1 TB of internal storage. We have already mentioned that there are versions on the market that differ only in battery capacity and charging speed. The first has a 5000 mAh battery with fast 80 W charging, and the second has a 4600 mAh battery with 120 W charging. The phone's cooling is improved with a larger vapor chamber and graphene sheet. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS and USB-C. The operating system is Android 12 with MyOS 12 superstructure.

PHOTO EQUIPMENT, PRICES AND AVAILABILITY 

The photo equipment of the Nubia Z40S Pro is also improved. The main camera has a custom-made 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor with 35mm focal length, f/1.6 aperture and OIS support. There is also a 50 MP Samsung JN1 wide-angle lens with a field of view of 116°. The set is rounded off by an 8MP periscopic telephoto lens with OIS, 9x hybrid zoom, f/3.4 aperture and laser focus. The front camera has 16 MP.

The Nubia Z40S Pro comes in Magic Green and Night Sea color variants, as well as a special Spirit Cage variant that is inspired by the well-known Chinese anime. All three variants are already on pre-sale on, for example, JD.com , the actual sales start on July 26/July. The prices of the individual versions are as follows:
