Amazfit Band 7 has been officially introduced

Earlier this month, tipsters hinted that another wearable was coming to market . This time it's the Amazfit brand, and surprisingly, it's not a smart watch, but a fitness bracelet. Its trade name is Amazfit Band 7, and it will replace the 2020 Band 5 model in the market. Although we did not know when the wristband manufacturer would introduce it, we did know its main specifications and design. So we'll just recap everything today.

Since the company Huami is behind the production of the Amazfit Band 7 bracelet, which also produces bracelets for Xiaomi, it is clear that the new Amazfit bracelet has some common elements as the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro bracelet , which debuted at the beginning of the month. Again, in terms of appearance, it is a kind of cross between a watch and a bracelet. The display is larger and rectangular with curved edges. It is set in a silicone strap. The screen as such is of the AMOLED type with a diagonal of 1.47 inches, a resolution of 368 × 198 pixels and a fineness of 282 ppi. The manufacturer also added resistance up to 5ATM.

The bracelet is equipped with a BioTracker 3.0 PPG biometric sensor, a three-axis accelerometer, a geomagnetic sensor and a Bluetooth 5.2 BLE wireless controller. The dimensions are 42.33 × 24.36 × 12 mm with a weight of 28 grams including the strap. The bracelet supports a classic set of monitoring such as monitoring blood oxygenation, heart rate, sleep and stress. After pairing with your phone, you can receive various notifications on the bracelet, set alarms, reminders and get information about the weather.

There are also more than 120 sports modes with automatic training detection. But what the Amazfit bracelet lacks is a built-in GPS. However, after pairing with the phone, GPS data can be received via Bluetooth. The bracelet runs on the ZeppOS system and is therefore compatible with both Android and iOS systems. There is also support for the Amazon Alexa voice assistant. The battery has a capacity of 232 mAh and, according to the manufacturer, it can last up to 12 days of intensive use on a single charge. In power saving mode, the duration is extended up to 28 days. The Amazfit Band 7 bracelet can already be purchased on the manufacturer's website or at some other retailers for $49.99.
