She, too, is preparing her first-ever tablet, which tipsters have been pointing out since spring. Its trade name is said to be Redmi Pad 5G and the launch could happen soon.

The Redmi Pad 5G tablet has already passed the Chinese 3C certification, which did not reveal too much of its specifications. And the real photo, which was published by the Xiaomiui website and can also be found on the Chinese Weibo, did not reveal much. Anyway, we can summarize at least the little we know so far about the upcoming tablet and also what the tipsters estimate.

REDMI PAD 5G MAY BELONG TO THE BASIC CLASS 

According to the photo, it looks like the Redmi Pad 5G tablet has a metal body. On the back panel is a rectangular camera module with a single sensor. We can't really find out more from the photo. So let's take a look at what the 3C and CMIIT certification statements have to say about it. The tablet is codenamed 22081281AC and internally labeled "yunluo". The CMIIT listing shows that it supports 5G networks and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The 3C listing confirmed that we will find support for fast charging with a power of 67 W. This is certainly interesting, because fast charging is not very popular with tablets.

According to tipsters, we can then expect a less powerful processor, apparently from the production company MediaTek. The manufacturer apparently bets on a lower performance and thus a lower price. At the same time, he can leave the door open for a second tablet, which he will give a chipset with better performance. However, the somewhat confusing and worse news is that the Redmi Pad is said to run on the MIUI Lite superstructure, which is intended for low-end devices. This is quite contrary to the information about 67 W fast charging. Basic software and such fast charging simply do not go together. So let's take this information with a grain of salt.
