The Realme 9i 5G has a confirmed 5000mAh battery

The Realme brand has recently confirmed that it is preparing a launch event for the Indian market today, i.e. August 18, where it will launch the Realme 9i 5G phone. However, it is rumored that they may also introduce the new Realme Watch 3 Pro smart watch . We already looked at them in more detail some time ago, so today we will focus on the announced phone.

WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR ABOUT THE REALME 9I 5G PHONE 

If the name of the upcoming phone sounds familiar, you're right. Realme introduced a phone with the same name at the beginning of the year, but it lacked support for 5G networks. That's why they want to fix it in the case of the new Realme 9i 5G model. This of course means replacing the processor. The original Snapdragon 680 will therefore replace the Dimensity 810 chipset.

In addition, the manufacturer also confirmed a display with a teardrop cutout for the front camera and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. We don't know if it's AMOLED or LCD, but given that it's a mid-range phone that the manufacturer claims will be cheap, we're betting on an LCD screen. Tipsters estimate that the diagonal is 6.6 inches and the resolution is FullHD+.

The manufacturer also confirmed the battery capacity, which reached a solid 5000 mAh. Tipsters add that the battery supports charging with a power of 18 W. It is not a dizzying power, but it is still a cheap phone. We also expect a front 8 MPix camera and a main camera with 50 MPix and two 2 MPix sensors. The Realme 9i 5G runs on the Android 12 operating system with the Realme UI 3.0 superstructure, and we can reportedly expect two versions with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory and 6 GB of operating memory and 128 GB of internal storage. According to the trailers on the manufacturer 's website , two color variants, namely black and gold, will go on the market. The phone is also said to have a very slim profile at 8.1mm.
