Motorola is planning a global showcase for the beginning of September
Motorola has recently introduced several new phones to the Chinese market in fairly quick succession. First and foremost, it's the Moto X30 Pro flagship machine with a 200 MP photo sensor and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. Also, the Motorola S30 Pro model with Snapdragon 888 Plus, and we must not forget the Moto Edge 2022 phone , which is the first phone with the Dimensity 1050 chipset. We all probably suspect that some of these models, if not all, will soon arrive in global markets. Here, however, the manufacturer has united them in the Edge series.
Tipsters estimate that Motorola will send three new Edge phones to global markets. Specifically, it will be the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, Edge 30 Fusion and Edge 30 Neo models. Just for the record, we'll add that the first one is the rebranded Chinese version of the X30 Pro, while the second one is the rebranded S30 Pro. And the last of them will not be the rebranded Chinese Moto Edge 2022 model, but an allegedly completely new phone that combines selected parameters of the Fusion and Ultra models and is said to be powered by either a Snapdragon 695 or Snapdragon 750G processor. The tipsters are currently estimating this according to the Geekbench test listing, where this phone has already appeared.
The phones will arrive quite a bit earlier than the tipsters originally expected, as the company's official Twitter account has already teased a global launch event on September 8. However, Motorola is keeping more information to itself, but the trailer tentatively suggests that there will be three Edge series phones. So we reckon the tipsters' guesses are correct.
We know that the Razr 2022 folding clamshell phone was also introduced in the Chinese market. And we would certainly like to welcome it in international markets as well. However, it seems that at least at the September presentation we will have to let the taste go. Neither the tipsters nor the Motorola company yet indicate that this folding machine will look at global markets.
