Asus pioneered this segment with its ROG gaming phones. And since the release of the first gaming machine, ROG has supplied us with new phones every year. At the beginning of this holiday season , it released two models of the ROG Phone 6 series. The phones became the first IPX4-certified gaming machines, and both are powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. However, in connection with this series, Asus has not yet said its last word. He is preparing the Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate model.
The upcoming Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will also, like its older brothers, grab a first. It will be the first gaming phone powered by the Dimensity 9000 Plus processor. It's certainly an interesting move, as the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset was introduced only recently, as MediaTek's answer to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. And since Asus has confirmed that the new gaming ROH will also reach global markets, it will certainly be a good global showcase for MediaTek as well. The Dimensity 9000 series is essentially only sold on the Asian market.
And while we're talking about the global introduction of the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, let's add that the manufacturer announced on Twitter that it will take place on September 19 in parallel in New York, Berlin and Taipei.
And how is the upcoming game machine with other parameters? We don't know much yet because the manufacturer has not yet confirmed anything other than the Dimensity 9000 Plus processor. However, we can take a look at the Antutu test report, where the upcoming ROG scored 1146594 points, which is roughly 3% more than the ROG Phone 6 Pro model with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. Furthermore, thanks to the 3C certification, we find that the phone supports fast charging with a power of 65W. At this point, tipsters estimate that the other specifications may be the same as the original ROG Phone 6 series phones.
