The iQOO brand has already prepared two generations of phones from their numbered series for us this year. It launched the iQOO 9 models at the beginning of this year, and it probably goes without saying that they are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. After the release of the "plus" version of Snapdragon, the manufacturer rushed with the iQOO 10 models . Here we clearly see that they are trying to observe a half-year cycle between individual generations. Therefore, it is clear that tipsters are already looking at the models of the iQOO 11 series.
Of course, the release of new phones is closely related to Qualcomm's new flagship processor. This is the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and it seems that the manufacturer will introduce it in November/November. The well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station also points to this chipset and claims that the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro phones will also get it. The tipster also announces other specifications, but speaks so generally that it is not clear whether the standard model or the Pro version will have them, or both.
But it may not matter, because both models from series 9 and models from series 10 have the vast majority of parameters in common. So, according to the tipster, the upcoming phones will receive a chipset labeled SM8550, which is the already mentioned Snapdragon 8 Gen2. We can also count on a new type of display, namely the E6 AMOLED screen from Samsung with a "hole" for the front camera in the middle of the top.
But the tipster does not mention what size or, if you prefer, the diagonal of the screen. Still, they claim the display resolution is 2K, which is the "Chinese" designation for QHD resolution. The refresh rate is said to reach 120 Hz and PMW Dimming to 1440 Hz. The combination of these specifications suggests that the imaging will be at a really high level. It is likely that the above-mentioned specifications will be the same for both phones of the iQOO 11 series. Therefore, they may differ, for example, in terms of photo equipment, possibly battery capacity and charging performance. However, the manufacturer has not yet confirmed that it is working on the phones or when it will be introduced. However, tipsters estimate that this may happen at the end of this year.
