Four days ago , Oppo confirmed that it plans to launch the Oppo F21s Pro and F21s Pro 5G in the Indian market on September 15. At the same time, the manufacturer drew attention to some of the parameters of the upcoming phones. Today we know them all, so let's summarize them.
Both Oppo F21s Pro phone parameters fall into the middle class, and their appearance is adapted to this. They are very similar and differ perhaps only in the design of the main camera module. The front panel is the same. It has relatively narrow bezels, a slightly wider chin and a "hole" in the upper left corner for the front camera. Both phones are also quite slim, measuring just 7.66mm in waist. Around the sensors of the main camera is an "Orbit Light" LED light ring for even lighting when taking pictures and at the same time it is also used for notifications.
Oppo F21s Pro phones have the same 6.43-inch AMOLED displays. Their resolution is 2400 × 1080 pixels, the refresh rate reached 90 and 60 Hz. The sample rate stopped at 180 Hz and the brightness at 600 nits.
Since the Oppo F21s Pro model supports 4G networks and the other model supports 5G networks, it is clear that each has a different processor. In the first case, it is the Snapdragon 680, and in the second case, the Snapdragon 695. However, the memory configurations are the same, namely 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Connectivity in the first model is represented by dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, USB-C and 3.5 mm audio jack. In the second case, it is 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, USB-C and 3.5 mm audio jack. Both phones have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the display.
The battery has the same capacity in both cases, namely 4500 mAh, and the support for fast charging with a power of 33 W is also the same. The operating system is Android 12 with the ColorOS 12.1 superstructure.
As mentioned in the introduction, the cameras of the Oppo F21s Pro and F21s Pro 5G are different, but in both cases the main camera is triple. The model with 4G support has a main camera composed of a primary 64 MP sensor and two 2 MP sensors. The first of them is equipped with a segmented Microlens lens. This "microscopic" lens can magnify the photographed object up to thirty times. The second 2 MP sensor is used to capture depth of field. The front camera received a 32 MP Sony IMX709 sensor.
The model with support for 5G networks also has three sensors of the main camera with a resolution of 64 MPix and twice 2 MPix. However, the "microscopic" lens that replaced the macro lens is missing here. The front camera has 16 MPix and f/2.4 aperture. The Oppo F21s Pro series phones are available in Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black colors, sales on Amazon India begin on September 19. The first of the 8GB/128GB phones costs INR 22,999, which is roughly $288. The second model with the same memory configuration will cost 25,999 rupees, roughly $326.
