Vivo X Fold Plus is Tenaa certified

Our regular readers will surely remember that we have already mentioned several times that the Vivo brand is preparing its second foldable phone. Tippers believed that its trade name would be Vivo X Fold S and that it could debut as early as this month. They were apparently based on the fact that the foldable phone passed the Chinese 3C certification at the beginning of the month. Now it looks like at least the name of the phone has been tweaked a bit. It is said that the phone will eventually go on sale as the Vivo X Fold Plus, which is not such a big change.

WHAT TENAA CONFIRMED ABOUT THE VIVO X FOLD PLUS PHONE

The foldable phone Vivo X Fold Plus is gradually undergoing other Chinese certifications, and Tenaa is one of them. Information about this can be found on the MySmartPrice website, with the fact that the certifiers have confirmed the battery capacity. The battery is said to be dual and each cell has a capacity of 2300 mAh. The total capacity is therefore 4600 mAh, which is quite enough for a foldable phone. However, the first foldable Vivo model has the same battery capacity.

Furthermore, the certification confirmed that the Vivo X Fold Plus model supports 5G networks in the N1, N28, N41, N78 and N79 bands and runs on the Android 12 system. Of course, we expect the manufacturer to add its own FunTouch OS 12 superstructure to the operating system. But we are interested even what processor powers the upcoming foldable phone. And information about it will be provided by the Geekbench test listing, which lists the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. We will also see up to 12 GB of operating memory and 256/512 GB of internal storage.

The 3C certification listing, in turn, confirmed that Vivo's foldable phone supports 80W fast wired charging as well as 50W wireless charging. The phone will come with a dual-C-port GaN charging adapter. For this, tipsters mention an 8.03-inch internal display with a 2K resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and LTPO technology. The external screen is of the AMOLED type, it has 6.53 inches and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The main camera consists of four sensors, with the primary one having a resolution of 50 MP. It is paired with a 48 MP wide-angle lens, a 12 MP telephoto lens and an 8 MP periscopic sensor. The selfie camera has 16 MP.
