Mediatek rules the September Chinese Antutu charts

Antutu benchmark rankings have been the main measuring tool for mobile phone performance for many years. In addition, of course, this is also a prestigious matter for the phone manufacturers themselves. The charts are usually updated every month and the September edition has just hit the internet. Although only with phones available on the Chinese market, we can still find some very interesting surprises in it. Even quite unexpected surprises.

The main thing, moreover, in the most prestigious high-end category. This has almost always been the domain of processors from Qualcomm and in recent months it has been dominated by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+. So for now, Qualcomm's most powerful chipsets, even if Snapdragon Gen 2 is not too far away . But in September, the Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ made its way to the top, specifically in the ASUS ROG Phone 6D. The achieved 1,123,036 points is indeed an impressive result all in all. The rest of the Top 10 is then fully dominated by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ without exception. In the second place, for the sake of interest, we find the OnePlus Ace Pro and in the third place the IQOO 10 Pro.

But the situation is completely reversed when looking at the middle class. It is completely dominated by Mediatek in the first nine places with the Dimensity 8100-Max, Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 8000 chipset variants. The first Qualcomm with the Snapdragon 870 crouches down to the last place. What is interesting is the first place of the OnePlus brand with the Ace and Ace Plus Racing Edition models . And the designation middle class is of course based on the price of the phone, because for example the 821,025 points achieved by the ruler of the ranking are famous.

The division of the market is really quite clear between the two biggest rivals in the field of chipsets. Dimensity 9000+ has temporarily broken the hegemony in the high-end segment of Antutu, but we will see how long it will last there. Anyway, we definitely have a lot to look forward to in the future.
