The Chinese Vivo has undoubtedly been among the absolute leaders in the field for many years, and recently we have also seen their expansion into our market, for example. It's going slowly and stiffly, but perhaps better times will begin to flash. The company really has a lot to offer, and the most interesting pieces certainly belong to the "X" series. After all, the high-end Vivo X80 Pro also dazzled in our recent review . However, the development cycles of phones are getting shorter, so it is slowly knocking on the door of its successor with the Vivo X90 series.
And according to Chinese insiders, we should even wait for the official introduction of the Vivo X90 series before Christmas this year. There is a lot of talk about the December deadline, which only emphasizes the mentioned incredible speed of development. The Vivo X80 was introduced in China in April of this year, and it took even longer to reach other global markets. But at least Asian customers will have another great model under the tree. Because the novelty will definitely not arrive in Europe until next year.
The last generation included a pair of models, but this time we may see a trio right from the start. The basic Vivo X90 should be complemented by the Vivo X90 Pro and X90 Pro+. Of course, there is still speculation about the equipment, but some details have already leaked to the world. They primarily concern the top-of-the-line X90 Pro+ model, which is said to rely on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Or, less likely, on Mediatek's top-of-the-line chipsets. In addition, it is said that we will see a new Vivo V2 ISP chip or LPDDR5x and UFS4.0 memory. The camera will certainly be on the same level, where there is talk of a 1″ main sensor or a 64 MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. And of course also AMOLED panel or super fast 100W charging.
Of course, nothing is official yet. But the creators are said to be concentrating on the release of the Vivo X90 series until the end, and the rest of the plans will be postponed. Such as the introduction of the Vivo S16 series and other possible news. So we'll see.
