Realme is preparing a phone with a Dimensity 1080 processor

2022-10-11, MediaTek introduced the new Dimensity 1080 processor, which is intended for mid-range phones. The chipset has improved performance and the camera support is improved as well. It is built on TSMC's 6nm production technology, supports 5G networks, and on the GPU post we find the Mali-G68 MC4. MediaTek announced yesterday that we will see the first phones with this processor this year, and Realme, Poco and, for example, Vivo have already shown interest in it. But which of the manufacturers will take the lead?

REALME WILL PROBABLY BE THE FIRST 

Basically immediately after the presentation of the Dimensity 1080 processor, a message from the Vice President of the Realme brand, Mr. Madhav Sheth, appeared on Twitter . He announced that he will introduce a phone with this brand new chipset later this year. And it is therefore likely that this as yet unknown machine will appear first in the Indian market. However, it's a shame that Sheth didn't mention any details about the upcoming phone. But it is possible that we will hear about some specifications soon.

At this point, we can only speculate about the parameters of the upcoming Realme phone. Since the predecessor of the new chipset, the Dimensity 920, powered the Realme 9 Pro Plus, it is possible that a successor to this machine is on the way. It could then be the Realme 10 Pro Plus model. But the Narzo 60 Pro model may also be in the game. But it's really just speculation at this point.

On the other hand, it is true that the Realme 10 phone is also in preparation, which is already collecting the necessary global certifications . Tipsters estimate that this model will start the numbered series 10 and expect its launch this year.
