iQOO Neo 7 is launched with Dimensity 9000 Plus processor

The iQOO brand has been announcing for quite some time that it is preparing a new iQOO Neo 7 phone. It also announced that it will be launched on the Chinese market on October 20 and we also knew that the manufacturer has prepared several major improvements for the new phone . One of them, the Dimensity 9000 Plus processor, was also confirmed by Geekbench tests. The phone is out in the world , so now we can summarize all its parameters.

IQOO NEO 7 SPECIFICATIONS SUMMARY 

Let's start with the design of the iQOO Neo 7 phone, which is simple, but still quite attractive. There are narrow and symmetrical bezels around the display, and in the center of its upper part there is a "hole" for the front camera. The rear panel is dominated by a rectangular two-tone main camera module.

The screen as such is of the E5 AMOLED type, has a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a sampling rate of 360 Hz, HDR10+, a DCI-P3 color gamut, and a brightness of up to 1500 nits. There's also an independent Pixelworks Pro+ graphics chip.

The presentation also confirmed that the iQOO Neo 7 is powered by the Dimensity 9000 Plus processor. The chipset is built on TSMC's 4nm manufacturing technology and has a main Cortex-X3 core with a clock speed of 3.2 GHz and a Mali-G710 GPU. It is therefore ready for playing even more demanding game titles. As for memory, we can find 8/12 GB of operating memory and 128/256/512 GB of internal storage. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, USB-C and NFC. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display and there is also an IR blaster.

The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 120 W. For proper heat dissipation, there is an improved VC cooling and a special algorithm with nine temperature sensors that monitors the temperature in real time in different parts of the phone. The surprise is that the iQOO Neo 7 runs on the Android 13 operating system with the OriginOS Ocean superstructure.

PHOTO EQUIPMENT, PRICES AND AVAILABILITY 

The main camera of iQOO Neo 7 is triple. There is a primary 50 MP Sony IMX766V sensor with an aperture of f/1.88 and support for optical image stabilization. To it, the manufacturer added an 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro lens. The front camera has a resolution of 16 MP and an aperture of f/2.45.

The phone comes in Pop Orange, Impression Blue and Geometric Black colors. Pre-orders are already running in the Chinese market and sales will start on October 31. The prices of individual memory versions are as follows:

• 8GB/128GB - 2699 Yuan ($374)
• 8GB/256GB - 2999 yuan ($415)
• 12GB/256GB - 3299 yuan ($457)
• 12GB/512GB - 3599 yuan ($498)
