Oppo Pad 2 will arrive with Dimensity 9000 processor

After several years of decline, tablets have recently come back to the fore. The coronavirus pandemic, when we worked and studied from home, has a big part to play in this. Tablets were very well suited for this situation, so companies that had already given up on their production returned to them. And even companies that never had them in their portfolio started their production. The first cases include Xiaomi, for example, and the second companies Realme, Vivo and Oppo. Oppo already released the Oppo Pad and Oppo Pad Air tablets this year and is now preparing the Oppo Pad 2 model.

OPPO PAD 2 WILL GO ON THE MARKET SOON 

The parameters of individual Oppo tablets are quite different, especially in the area of ​​the processors used. If the first tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 870, for the Pad Air model the manufacturer reached for a Snapdragon 860 chipset. And thirdly, for the Oppo Pad 2 tablet, it will also change the chipset manufacturer and allegedly use the Dimensity 9000 processor. At least this is what tipster Digital Chat Station reports on Chinese Weibo .

Thanks to the chipset used, the Oppo Pad 2 tablet moves from the typical middle class to the upper middle class. MediaTek prepared the Dimensity 9000 processor as an answer to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1. However, not too many manufacturers have used it in their premium phones. As for tablets, it can only be found in the Lenovo Tab Extreme model, which appeared in the Google Play Console database a few days ago.

In addition to information about the processor, the tipster also adds that the screen of the Oppo Pad 2 will get a high resolution, namely 2800 × 2000 pixels. Recall that its predecessor, the Oppo Pad, has an LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. So both parameters look interesting and the captured tablet will have a decent performance and display. Other specifications may be similar to the predecessor. It is true that the Oppo company is tactfully silent about the upcoming tablet. However, Tipař believes that it will be introduced soon, probably before the end of this year.
