The Honor brand gave us such a little pre-Christmas gift yesterday. A few days ago , it confirmed that it is going to the mentioned three phones from the Honor 80 series as well as its flagship folding phone Honor Magic Vs. Phones are in the world , so let's see what they have to offer. In this article, we will focus on the Honor 80, 80 Pro and 80 SE models. All three new machines have interesting specifications and an attractive appearance. Of course, it also brings several improvements and quite reasonable prices.
As always in the list of specifications of the Honor 80 model, we will start with the display. It is an OLED type with a 6.67-inch diagonal, a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen has curved side edges and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10, brightness up to 1000 nits and 1920 Hz PWM dimming.
The manufacturer used a Snapdragon 782G processor with an Adreno 642L GPU for this phone. He added 8/12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of internal storage. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB-C. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display. The battery has a capacity of 4800 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 66 W. The operating system is Android 12 with the Magic UI 7.0 superstructure.
In the photo equipment of the Honor 80 phone, the main camera with three sensors clearly attracts attention. The primary 1/1.56-inch one has a resolution of 160 MP and an aperture of f/1.8. It is paired with an 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro lens. Among the functions we can find, for example, skin texture detection, new AI RAW algorithms and AI Vlog mode. The front camera has a 32 MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
This model is the highest of the whole series and therefore we can find some premium specifications here. The OLED display has a diagonal of 6.78 inches, a resolution of 2700 × 1224 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It also has curved side edges and support for 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR 10, up to 1000 nits brightness and 1920Hz PWM dimming. A fingerprint sensor is also integrated into the display.
The hallmark of the premium phone is provided by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, which, however, has a modified clock frequency on the main Cortex-X2 core and three Cortex-A710 cores. So it is slightly underclocked. As for memory, 8/12 GB of operating memory and 256/512 GB of internal storage are available. Connectivity, battery capacity and charging performance are the same as in the Honor 80 model. The operating system is also in this case Android 12 with Magic UI 7.0 superstructure.
The Honor 80 Pro also clearly impresses with its photo equipment. The main camera has three sensors, but the resolution of the wide-angle lens has increased to 50 MP and will also be used for macro photography. The primary sensor is 160 MP and the third 2 MP sensor is used to capture depth of field. The front camera is dual with 50 MP and 2 MP sensors. There are also new functions here, as in the standard model.
The last phone in the series has a slightly different design, but that does not detract from its interest. It has the same curved edges as its brothers, but the main camera module is relatively simpler in appearance. Among the specifications we find a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The processor is equipped with a Dimensity 900 chipset with 8/12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB-C. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display.
The battery has a capacity of 4600 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 66 W. The operating system is Android 12 with the Magic UI 7.0 superstructure. Photo equipment is somewhat more modest, but still solid. The primary sensor of the main camera has 64 MP and an aperture of f/1.8. This is followed by a 5MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera is the same as the standard Honor 80 model, so it has a 32 MP sensor.
The phones go on the market in Ripple Blue, Sunrise Pink, Emerald Green and Midnight Black color variants. All three models are already on pre-order status in the Chinese market. Sales of the first two start on December 2nd, the third model will go on sale on December 9th. The prices of the phones are as follows:

model 80 Pro
