The phones of the Redmi K50 series have charmed a large number of fans with their specifications, design and well-balanced price/performance ratio. However, the greatest interest was probably in the K50 Pro model with the Dimensity 9000 processor, which is truly premium with very decent performance. And since some time has passed since the launch of the K50 series, fans and tipsters are already eagerly eyeing the phones from the Redmi K60 series. Tipsters have been informing us about phone specifications since October. And at the end of last month, we saw the first rendered images that revealed the look.

WHAT, ACCORDING TO TIPSTERS, THE REDMI K60 SERIES WILL OFFER 

Unconfirmed information about the Redmi K60 phones is many and new ones are added. So today we will summarize what we know so far and add something new. The most recent rumor is that the upcoming Redmi phones will be introduced in the Chinese market in January. Probably before the Lunar New Year celebrations, which will start on January 22nd. Other tipsters add that there are three models in total, namely the Redmi K60, K60 Pro and K60E. Earlier, however, there was also speculation about the gaming model K60 Gaming. Furthermore, the sales packaging of the standard model appeared on the Chinese network , which indicates that it is already in mass production and warehouses are slowly filling up before the launch.

Among the new reports, we include the one that claims that the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro models will run on Android 13 and a new version of the MIUI 14 superstructure, but the K60E model will have to settle for the MIUI 13 version built on the Android 12 system. It will be the lowest phone in of the entire series with the Snapdragon 870 processor. However, the new information about the other two models differs slightly from those that the tipsters had already mentioned. New tipsters mention that the standard Redmi K60 will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, while the Pro version is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. But it is hard to say why the manufacturer decided on a less powerful processor for the Pro version. So let's wait for confirmation or refutation of this speculation.

Among the specifications of the standard model, we also find a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a QHD+ resolution. The battery is said to have a capacity of 5500 mAh and support for wired charging with a power of 67 W. It is also rumored that the K series will also support wireless charging with a power of 30 W for the first time. The Redmi K60 has a triple main camera with 64 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP sensors and the front camera has a 16 MP sensor. The K60 Pro is said to have the same display, and the primary sensor for the main camera is also rumored to be a 50MP Sony IMX766. Further information on the specifications of the K60 series is not yet available.
