The arrival of flexible phones is certainly noticeable in the mobile market, but it is still definitely slower than most analysts expected. Already last year, many expected a real breakthrough and penetration of flexible models among "normal" users. And as you know, of course that didn't happen. Even though some pieces came close to the psychological threshold of one thousand dollars, none of them actually broke it. And it is precisely at this border, according to many, that mass expansion lies. In any case, the companies did not resent the flexible pieces and this year we will see a whole range of interesting ones. Such as the upcoming improved Motorola Razr+ (2023).
Of course, it is supposed to be a clamshell model again, which will challenge the competition in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Flip3 or the OPPO Find N2 Flip to a duel. The exact date of the performance is not yet known, but reportedly the wait should not be extremely long. In any case, it is supposed to be a small premiere for Motorola, because we have never seen "Plusko" in the name of the legendary Razr series before. And thanks to the well-known "leaker" Evan Blass, renderings of this upcoming phone have already appeared on the web. So, nothing extra official, but from relatively very trustworthy sources.
The Motorola Razr+ (2023) is said to be hiding under the model number XT2321, and a photo of the prototype is already circulating on the Internet. In theory, the main attraction should be the large secondary display when closed. It is said to have a diagonal of 3.7 inches, which would surpass the already relatively generous 3.26 inches of the OPPO Find N2 Flip. We should also get support for 30W charging or a decent 2850 mAh battery capacity. Insider sources also talk about the integration of a selfie camera directly under the display, but no specific specifications are known yet. So we'll have to wait a little longer for everything. Motorola is losing the "flexible" war with Samsung so far, but the same can be said for basically all other brands as well. But maybe in 2023 we will see some real competitive struggle and price compression of flexible phones. Maybe a flexible OnePlus first ?
