The Oppo company has quite a rich portfolio, in which the basis is premium phones with powerful fast charging. However, we can also find cheaper basic and mid-range phones here. The latest mid-range phones introduced include, for example, the Oppo A78 4G model , which debuted around the middle of this month. But we also remember the A1 model from last year. The phone has a well-balanced price/performance ratio, so those who prefer exactly this in their phone are in for a treat. This year, the manufacturer will follow up on this phone with the Oppo A2 model. Since this phone is already certified by Tenaa, let's take a look at some of its specifications.
The certification listing suggests that the Oppo A2 will have mid-range specs that are quite interesting. Compared to last year's A1 model, we will see several improvements, especially in the display. It is an OLED type with a diagonal of 6.7 inches and a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels. We remind you that the A1 model has roughly the same size IPS LCD screen. The upcoming phone will even offer 2160 Hz PWM dimming support for the display and has slightly curved side edges.
In the images that are part of the certification statement, we can see that the Oppo A2 phone has a large circular main camera module on the back panel. There are three photo sensors and an LED flash in the module. Although we do not find the exact resolution of the individual sensors in the listing, tipsters expect a primary 50 MPix sensor. After all, even the predecessor of the A1 has such a sensor, and a second 2 MPix sensor is paired with it. So the main camera is also improved.
Another plus of the Oppo A2 model is the battery with a decent capacity of 5000 mAh. The battery capacity does not change compared to last year's model. We don't know the charging power yet, but it could be at least 67 W. Tenaa doesn't even mention the type of processor at the moment. Therefore, we remind you that the A1 model is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset, which manufacturers like to use in mid-range phones. However, we hope that Oppo will replace the processor with a newer model, since the Snapdragon 695 is already somewhat outdated. So these are the specifications listed in the Tenaa certification statement. We expect more details soon.
