Since the beginning of this year, Google has been honestly testing the new version of the Android operating system. Although we expected Android 14 to appear in a stable version a little earlier, it was completed just before the launch of the Pixel 8 phones. It also debuted with them, and the update for the Pixel phones went live yesterday. Of course, other manufacturers who based their superstructures on it were also waiting for a stable version. OnePlus is probably the most active in the preparation of a new version of the superstructure. But not even Xiaomi was embarrassed. It comes with a new version of the MIUI superstructure, which is now ready for several selected phones. Specifically, it concerns the Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro and the Xiaomi 12T model.

XIAOMI 13, 13 PRO AND 12T ARE AMONG THE FIRST PHONES WITH ANDROID 14

Not so long ago, the new version of MIUI built on Android 14 was available only to those owners of Xiaomi phones 13, 13 Pro and 12T who registered in the testing program as beta testers. Now the distribution is starting via OTA also for global users outside the test program.

According to the Xiaomiui website, owners of the Xiaomi phone 13 will receive builds labeled MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMCMIXM and MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMCEUXM. For owners of the 13 Pro model, there are builds marked MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMBMIXM and MIUI-V14.0.5.0. UMBEUXM. And Xiaomi 12T users will then get MIUI-V14.0.6.0.ULQMIXM and MIUI-V14.0.5.0.ULQEUXM. In all cases it is MIUI Global. Of course, as always, you will need to wait for the update to arrive on all devices. But then users can fully enjoy all the new functions of the new superstructure and the Android 14 system.

Xiaomi continues to work hard to prepare updates for its other phones in addition to the 13, 13 Pro and 12T. At the same time, it is important that even the new Android 14 and the new version of MIUI may still have some minor bugs. So, if you encounter any significant issue after updating your phone, please give feedback to the developers or roll back to the original stable version of Android 13.
