Oppo F27 Launch in India: Specs, Features, and Pricing
India recently saw a surge of new smartphone launches, with Oppo joining the fray alongside Motorola and iQOO. The company unveiled the Oppo F27, a more affordable counterpart to the F27 Pro Plus, which debuted two months ago. While the Oppo F27 retains some of the rugged design elements, it offers a more budget-friendly option without compromising too much on durability.
Oppo F27 Key Specifications
The Oppo F27 features a design similar to its older sibling, the F27 Pro Plus. It has a flat rear panel highlighted by a large circular camera module, and the front display is also flat with narrow bezels and a small punch-hole for the front camera at the top center. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display offers a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also boasts a peak brightness of 2100 nits.
Under the hood, the Oppo F27 is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM and offers two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The device supports 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and USB-C connectivity. The fingerprint sensor is embedded within the display, and the phone is IP64-rated for dust and water resistance. It also features several AI enhancements. The Oppo F27 is fueled by a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14.
Despite the large camera module, the Oppo F27 houses only two rear sensors. The primary camera is a 50MP Omnivision OV50D sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. Notably, the camera module is surrounded by a Halo Light, which doubles as a notification indicator. The front-facing camera is a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
The Oppo F27 is available in India in two colors: Emerald Green and Amber Orange. It is already on sale through the official Oppo e-store. The 8GB/128GB variant is priced at INR 22,999 ($274), while the 8GB/256GB variant costs INR 24,999 ($298).
