Earlier this year, Oppo introduced the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra flagship phones, but surprisingly, the Find X7 Pro was absent from the lineup. Both models boasted an attractive design and impressive specifications. Now, tipsters are buzzing about the next evolution in the series, the Oppo Find X8 lineup. The good news? This time, the Pro model is expected to be part of the series, and even better, it may hit global markets, unlike its predecessors which were exclusive to China.
While Oppo has yet to confirm any of this information, tipsters suggest that the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will be launched globally, likely around October 2024. Earlier this month, leaks hinted at the phones' battery capacities, displays, and processors. Now, additional details about the design and features have emerged on the MyDrivers website.
Recent images from the Chinese network show the Oppo Find X8 "in profile." The phone appears to have a flat back and front panel, with equally flat edges—a departure from the curved design of the Find X7. This new flat design has also allowed for the integration of an innovative new feature, the Quick Button.
The Quick Button is a capacitive touch button located on the lower right side of the phone's center frame, distinct from the volume rocker and power button. Although its exact purpose remains unconfirmed, it's speculated that the Quick Button could offer rapid camera control, similar to the Capture button on the upcoming iPhone 16 series.
Speaking of cameras, new photos reveal the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro's rear design. The main camera module remains large and circular, situated in the upper third of the back panel. However, the design has been slightly revamped into a very rounded square shape. According to early reports, the module includes a 50 MP primary sensor, a 50 MP wide-angle lens, and a periscopic telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The Pro model will reportedly feature an additional periscopic telephoto lens with 10x zoom. Hasselblad has once again collaborated with Oppo on the camera optics, as indicated by the prominent "H" branding.
With its unique design, innovative features, and powerful camera setup, the Oppo Find X8 series is shaping up to be a significant advancement in the smartphone market. Keep an eye out for its global release later this year!
