Apple announced yesterday that it will be holding a event on September 14th. Called "Callifornia Streaming", the event is a pre-recorded event like the last few events and will be streamed across several stages.
Since this is a September event, we can safely assume that Apple will be announcing its next generation iPhone, also known as the iPhone 13. Although Apple missed this self-imposed deadline last year due to production issues, everything seems to be happening by 2021.
Not much is known about the upcoming iPhone, and the rumor continues to be that it has a high refresh rate display, perhaps only on the Pro models. General improvements such as an improved camera and a faster chipset are also provided.
It is reasonable to assume that the company will also launch an updated version of the Apple Watch. The sixth generation model was launched in September last year and brought with it a blood oxygen sensor, ECG and a cheaper SE variant.
Traditionally, Apple will provide permanent release dates for later versions of all operating systems, including iOS 15, iPadOS 15, WatchOS 8 and MacOS Monterey.
When it comes to MacOS, there is always some potential for announcing new Mac models, especially as the next generation of M1 chipsets is expected soon. However, the September events usually focus on the iPhone and Apple Watch.
The California Streaming event will be streamed live on Apple.com, which can be viewed through any desktop or mobile browser. Moreover, you can also watch the event on an Apple TV or any device with the Apple TV app.
Watch the event on 9 / 14September 14th at 10 a.m. PDT.
View online at apple.com or on the Apple TV app.
