Motorola Expands Moto G Line with the New Moto G75

Motorola continues to grow its popular Moto G series. Last month, rumors of the Moto G75 surfaced, including some early design insights. While the initial information was limited, we now have the full details as the phone has officially been unveiled.

Main Specifications of the Moto G75

The Moto G75 sticks to Motorola’s signature design. The back panel is flat, featuring a square camera module located in the upper left corner. The module houses three camera sensors and an LED flash. Notably, the Moto G75 is both IP68 certified and compliant with military standard MIL-STD-810H, making it resistant to water, dust, drops from up to 1.2 meters, and extreme temperatures.

Display and Build

The Moto G75 comes with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display boasting a resolution of 2388 × 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also offers up to 1000 nits of brightness, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a pixel density of 387 ppi. Protection is provided by Gorilla Glass 5.

Performance and Storage

Under the hood, the Moto G75 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen3 chipset built on 4nm technology. It is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB-C port. The fingerprint sensor is positioned on the side of the device for easy access.

The Moto G75 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 30W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging. This ensures long-lasting power and quick recharges when needed.

On the back, the Moto G75 features a triple-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP Sony-LYTIA 600 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, Quad Pixel technology, and OIS support. Accompanying it is an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 118.6° field of view and f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, there is a flicker sensor. On the front, the selfie camera is a 16MP sensor with an f/2.45 aperture.

Operating System and Updates

The Moto G75 runs on Android 14 and Motorola promises up to five years of OS updates and six years of security patches, ensuring long-term software support.
