Oppo K12 Plus Launch Set for October 12: Key Specs Revealed

This spring, Oppo introduced the Oppo K12, a mid-range smartphone in China. Now, another model from the series, the Oppo K12 Plus, is ready to debut. The new model has passed its Tenaa certification, revealing its key features. Oppo has confirmed the official launch date in China as October 12 at 2:30 p.m. local time.

Oppo K12 Plus Specifications

While Oppo has only teased a few details, the Tenaa certification provides a clearer picture of what to expect:

• Display: The Oppo K12 Plus will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution. The screen will have symmetrical bezels and a centered hole-punch for the front camera.
• Battery: A massive 6400mAh battery powers the device, along with support for 80W fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging.
• Processor: The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen3 chipset, offering great performance for mid-range smartphones.
• Memory and Storage: The phone will come with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage.
• Camera: On the rear, the Oppo K12 Plus will feature a dual-camera setup, including a 50 MP primary sensor and an 8 MP wide-angle lens. The front camera will have a 16 MP sensor.
• Operating System: The phone will run on Android 14 with Oppo's custom Color OS 14 interface.

Design and Features

The design of the Oppo K12 Plus closely resembles its predecessor, with a sleek back panel featuring an oval-shaped main camera module. The module includes three rings—two for the cameras and one for the LED flash. The design hints at a stylish yet practical smartphone that will appeal to many users.
