Apple's September 14 keynote address on the iPhone 13 is finally over! The company has unveiled the new iPhone 13 series, the new Apple Watch Series 7 and a host of innovations. However, the new iPad model and the newer iPad mini 6 had some great surprises. We’ve been seeing rumors floating around about the release of a new iPad mini tablet for quite some time but we had to wait until today to see if it really comes. Boasting of a new design, a larger display and a USB C port, Apple came up with the answer with a fresh new model for all iPad little fans. Let's turn to the specifications of this new tablet.
So far Apple has been following the same design for its iPad mini models but nonetheless the iPad mini 6 came here to bring some nice changes. In line with the latest iPhone models and iPads, the company has changed the design with flat edges and curved corners of the screen. Even the Apple Watch Series 7 now has a flat design market.

The new screen is larger than the 8.3-inch diagonal and liquid retina monitors. Interestingly, this is a slight improvement over the iPad mini 7.9-inch display. Another change in design is the removal of the Home button. The touch ID sensor is moved to the power button and the device does not have a face ID. According to Apple, the new tablets are eco-friendly as they are made from 100% recycled aluminum.
Apple is introducing the TrueTone feature on the iPad mini 6, increasing the brightness to 500kg. So seeing the contents in the sunlight may not be a problem. To enhance the multimedia experience, the new tablet also has a landscape-oriented stereo speaker. The new tablet allows you to take your Apple pencil (2nd generation) sideways using a magnet.
The new USB-C port is another addition that enhances connectivity between different products. The new compact tablet comes in Wi-Fi and cellular variants. The second offers 5G connectivity and is capable of speeds of up to 3.5 Gbps.
In terms of performance, the iPad mini comes with the latest generation Apple A15 Bionic chipset. That’s right, Apple offers the best mobile phone SoC for the Mini tablet. Compared to the 80% leap in the old iPad mini and GPU department, it represents a 40% higher performance category.
In terms of optics, the iPad mini 6 has a new 12MP main camera with true tone flash and f / 1.8 aperture. The front camera is also very good with a 12 MP sensor and a very wide view.
